My wife and I stayed at Petit Soleil on a quick business trip at the recommendation of local colleagues. While not really setup for business travelers, it still served us well with free WiFi and some places to work in the dining room and courtyard. The lack of business amenities should not be a surprise. After all, it's a B&B and one doesn't stay here expecting it to be like a Marriott or Hilton. It was, in fact, much better and a terrific place to wind down after a busy day.
Our room was cool and comfortable with very clean and up to date bathroom and shower. The decor was quirky yet pleasant. I think that's what the proprietors were shooting for and if so, they hit the mark.
My wife has Celiac disease, and we were a bit concerned about the availability of gluten free breakfast options. However, that was quickly laid to rest. Having communicated with the owners before our trip, they assured me that many of their guests required gluten free meals and they had plenty of options. They did not disappoint. Breakfast was fantastic!
The staff was super friendly, and made us feel like old friends. Arriving late our first night, and missing the wine tasting for the evening, the girl who greeted us still offered to pour a glass. No request was ever an inconvenience, and we felt like we were invited into our hosts own home.
We're looking forward to our next stay.
