Location is everything, kind of. This is RIGHT downtown so you can party late night and stumble back to your room or easily leave from the hotel and set out on a walking tour of SLO.
The rooms themselves vary in size and style like a room in a house. The room we stayed in was small but lovely. I could have moved in. The shower had a window so my lover and I could talk to one another. The bed had a fabulous mirror affixed above. Sigh. There is a common rooftop patio that we had coffee on the next morning... more sighs... I did not want to leave.
The bistro is FABULOUS!!!!!!!! Probably the best BAR in SLO for sophisticated drinkers. I am a Gin lover and they had Ransom (a high end favorite). They had a lot of nifty cocktails too that were inventive. Food was lovely too and the atmosphere was very romantic... darkly lit, candles everywhere, couches for seating, outdoor seating with fire-pits.
I would return to the Granada either solo, when I feel I want to pamper myself and feel LOVED even if just by me... or I'd recommend to couples who want that Urban Romance.More
