But no one told visitors here to let others enjoy the art. Everywhere I went, someone close by was stately loudly whether they liked the art, or where they would go for lunch, and which shop downtown had a sale. Give me a break, and SHUT UP. I didn't say much about the art. They talked through it all.

The museum is eclectic, generally well-curated, with some shows interesting and artists excellent, some dull or mediocre. The space feels provisional insidficiently lit. Special events, such as Tibetan Bhuddist monks doing traditional mandala sand paintings before scattering them to the winds, are favorite times to visit. Small gift shop with locally-made jewelry and crafts.

This small museum often features locals/near locals, ranging from photographers to ceramicists to painters. Not bad, not super.

Every once in a while, they find an "extraordinary". A recent exhibit of "fantasy ships" was one of these--about a dozen hand-made, very detailed "ships", from 1-4 feet long, made masterfully from natural and manmade materials, as from a dream... Never saw anything like it. Probably never will again.

At the other end of extraordinary, they featured a clapped-out old Volvo fitted as a movie theatre...

Bottom line is to watch their offerings for the extraordinaries. Exhibits change about monthly.
