Our stay at the Peachtree Inn was delightful. We had planned only one night but decided to stay longer. The location is very convenient to the freeway and also to downtown yet the room was very quiet. The owners were marvelous and treated every guest as if we were their best friends. Very friendly place. The large open porch out back offered us a beautiful view and lots of hummingbirds!Breakfast was excellent and the WiFi worked well.

The Peach Tree was recommended by a friend. The front desk was extremely professional and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I was disappointed with the room as it was old and had a musty smell. The bathroom is small and the shower is not meant for anyone that is tall or large.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Such a relaxing, quiet, peaceful place. The rooms are large but not fancy, the beds are big and comfortable, the shower powerful and the grounds are wonderful. I spent some time reading a book in the massive swing hanging from a tree, watching the Humming Birds eat from the bowls on the hotels veranda.

Breakfast was lovely, owners extremely helpful and we felt fantastic after just one nights stay. Easy walk into town and on the weekends the Trolley stop is outside the door. Wonderful.

This inn could not have been better! We called at the last minute to try to get a room for the night and spoke with Claire who advised us that they only had two rooms left and she would happily hold them for us until we arrived about an hour later. When we arrived she handed us keys to both rooms and told us to pick which room we wanted, wow, talk about caring about the customer! The rooms are spacious but not fancy, very clean but not alot of frills and very quiet. This property is a drive up inn, meaning you park your car in front of your room, what a great throw back to our childhood. My teenagers immediately noticed the snacks in the breakfast room next to the lobby and the giant tree swing on a large grassy area at the bottem of the property and off they went relaxing after our long drive. The SLO Trolley stops literally in front of the property and we hopped on it to take us down to the Thursday night Farmers Market, we had a great time and didn't have to hassle with downtown parking. The included breakfast in the morning was wonderful and ending to our short stay. I have stayed many time in SLO and payed much more but from now on the Peach Tree will be our only option. It is truely a hidden gem in San Luis Obispo.

What a pleasant surprise! My husband and I stayed 5 days at the Inn and we loved it! The rooms were clean and quiet. We were totally rested by the time we left. Sandy (one of the owners) couldn't be nicer. One day we were heading to the beach and she even offered us her own personal beach chairs to take with us! We will definitely be back!

I don't know why but I loved this place. We stayed here two years ago and I still have wonderful memories of our stay there. We had more fun here than any other place we have ever stayed at. It is very unprentious and you can really unwind in San Luis Obispo. The Rascals song--Its a beautiful morning captured the essence of our experience there. The air is very clean, the weather was fine, each day was relaxing and calm. The hybrid tea roses and clay pots were a beautiful touch to the premis as was the telescope on the veranda and the tree with swing. Next year I think we will find an excuse to go back. This place is loaded with charachter, charm, and warmth. This place has a certain wholesome character about it that simply trancends words. I sincerly hope that you have as wonderful a stay as we did. I hope it says volume for the establishment that a guest would take the time two years later to say thank you again for a wonderful experience. Every time you hear 'A Beautiful Morning' on the radio you will remember this cute little place. We are going to Florida this year but in hindsight I wish we were going back here. One thing that also stuck out in my mind was the fact that we didn't pay alot and we still had fun. I use to think you had to spend a lot on a vacation to have a good time, that is, until I stayed here.

You might just remember this kind of place from your childhood. One story rooms next to each other, you park in front of your door and race to the swing hanging from a nearby tree. The Peach Tree Inn brought back so many memories and helped to create similar memories for my kids on our most recent road trip.

There were snacks available in the afternoon/evening and a good selection at breakfast. Great staff, nice rooms, and a fabulous value! This is a true find in San Luis Obispo!
