Just a one night stay on way south. Had thought of Pismo Beach, but couldn't resist all the positive reviews on TA. Our room, and the furnishings seemed more like a 4/5* hotel. Everything seemed of high quality, from 4 poster bed, to large shower, to double sinks - almost didn't want to leave the room for dinner! Immaculately clean.
Staff very friendly and helpful, and have mastered the art of hotelery. Above average breakfast provided.
Almost felt guilty at the price we paid.

We stayed in room 606, in the Plantation building, with a lovely view of trees. Absolutely cozy, loved the fireplace, the bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was top notch. Breakfast was great. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. SLO is such a fun location with fabulous dining and shopping, and now we have a favorite place to stay. We'll be back!

Room Tip: We had read that the Plantation building was the quietest, so chose that location.

Nice, quiet little Boutique B&B of three modern buildings, each of a different style. We stayed in the Plantation Building which is at the back of the complex. Our room was tastefully decorated and felt more like a bedroom than a hotel room. The bathroom was nicely decorated with tiled shower, two sinks and a skylight.
Breakfast daily was good, with potatoes, sausage, bagels and toast. Coffee and orange juice were available, and scrambled eggs and waffles made fresh on request.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Only downside is, driveway to the rear buildings is tight if most spaces are full. Check if the spaces are full before driving back, as you may have to back out.

We stayed in SLO one night to visit friends on our way down from a long weekend in Napa. We had just stayed at Auberge du Soleil and Andaz in wine country so I did not want to end our celebratory vacation with a stay in a so-so chain hotel. Based on TA reviews, I crossed my fingers and we booked a room at San Luis Creek Lodge and we were not disappointed. The rooms were large and extremely clean. Our room was located in the Londonberry portion of the property and was nicely appointed (loved the Philosophy beauty products). We checked in after 9:00 p.m. and they left our key (along with cookies) in a lock box with all the room instructions. It was GREAT to park right in front of room. It was extremely quiet and the Four Poster Bed was very comfortable. Electric fireplace was a surprise and a nice touch. Breakfast the next morning was really good - try the baked goods that they serve from local SLO bakery called Edna's (Raisin Toast and Coconut Crumb Cake was amazing!). We ate dinner the night before at Koberl at Blue (wine country cuisine) and had a great dinner. Wish we had more time in SLO, but will be back and will definitely stay at San Luis Creek Lodge.

Room Tip: Pick one of the rooms in the back - we stayed in room #208

Very beautifully appointed , a gem amidst the chain hotels located nearby. A great deal at only $122 per night (that includes tax.) Breakfast was also excellent , - well prepared oatmeal, eggs or waffles made to order,... And only a very short drive from downtown, with all the restaurants, the Mission, and lovely creek trail. Would definitely stay here again.

Hands down one of the best experience I had with a B&B. My first visit to SLO and got lucky to pick this place. There are several buildings in the property. I happened to stay in the Plantation building. Big comfortable bed, clean and tidy room, TV fridge and a microwave. The complimentary breakfast was convenient. If you like quaint, this is for you. I will definitely stay in this place again!

Lovely room, very cute furnishings, great shower and nice fireplace. Decent location but a little ways from the heart of downtown, but not too bad. It was still a bit pricey, and the breakfast election was nut as big as I had hoped.
