but this time we stopped for lunch. we were in Cambria for a family reunion & it was down to us & another couple. they hadn't been to the Madonna Inn & we felt they should see it while in the area.
lunch was surprisingly good. we all enjoyed the food. Jeff had a burger & fries, I had the shrimp louie. I could only eat 1/2 of it & took home the left-overs that we split for dinner. very nice composed salad. Jeff's nephew had the linguica omelet & ate the whole thing. I'm impressed. his wife had the hot turkey sandwich on biscuts <her request>. our waitress was a lot of fun & very helpful. a round of bloody Mary's for all. then we walked all over the hotel. a nice way to end family week.
