simple and good! this place has terrific noodles and soup and is a great stop before or after a movie at the Palm (next door) even tough it is only noodles and vegetables and various toppings the combinations are endless and the staff could give lessons to many other restaurants! You will enjoy this place!

I always enjoy my visits here, whether it be upstairs for Jazz, or in the cozy dining area for delicious noodles. The employees, chefs and owner are great at explaining the dishes (very limited menu), sauce flavors, etc. Very nice people and relaxed approach.

Love the fact that it is right next to the Palm Theater.

This is basically a noodle shop...veggies, chicken/beff/pork/shrimp, and choice of noodles. Delicious and hearty. Order a local beer with your noodles and sit upstairs for music on Wednesday nights.

I like the food and love the small, intimate, and friendly atmosphere. I tend to drop in during for a late lunch noodle bowl and a glass of wine. For such a small venue, the wine options are surprisingly good. And you won't go away hungry!

We were really looking to have some Asian noodles at the new Jin restaurant up Monterey street but were hugely disappointed. They had this huge television blaring and we couldn't even concentrate on the new menu so we left. Fortunately, we strolled a few blocks into town and stopped at Mee Heng Low. We were lucky to step in at just the right time as the table for two by the street window was open. Though it is a very small place we still normally are lucky enough to get a seat right away. The place was very busy last Friday night at 6.

I got the chow mien with tofu and my partner had another type of noodle with tofu and maybe a peanut sauce that was spicier than mine. The portion was ample and served quickly. Both meals were tasty and prepared very well. I love it when the broccoli still has a good crunch to it instead of being overcooked. It really hit the spot and we were so happy that we decided to go here instead of the new place. It's not fancy but it serves great noodles.
