I was taken here by a British-Indian friend of mine. An absolute revelation - the cuisine is difficult to describe, the closest I can think of is 'European-Indian fusion'. The chef uses spices from the subcontinent to subtly add taste to meats and fish such as venison, wild boar and sea bass. The results are truly outstanding. Myself and my friend each chose different starters, mains and deserts and shared each. Everything was simply outstanding. Service was also exemplary. It was busy so you do need to book. I was told that it has recently been awarded a Michelin star - very believable, it really is of the highest standard. I live 6000 miles away but I will definitely find a reason to return and sample its delightful menu again.
