Our friend had inside knowledge: get in line by 5:00 pm, even though the place opens at 5:30 pm for dinner. The line had already formed, and if you do not get in on the first seating, be prepared to wait for an hour while the others dine.
Hostess started taking order in line, to get things moving. SInce this was our first time, we were totally unprepared. There is no menu, just written on a big black board in chalk. We took our friend's advice and went with the spicy garlic pork broth. You can get "add on" for extra charge, and choose the level of spicy: none, mild, regular, and extra.
The add ons we tried were the kim chee and mushrooms. The basics come with portk slices, lots of veggies, and a quail egg. The next time we visit, definitely will get extra pork and quail eggos. They were delicious.
We also tried the potstickers, they were very good, but also very expensive for 3 in an order. The garlic pork broth is so good, and the ramen has the perfect texture and doneness. Highly recommended on a cold winter day. This will definitely warm you up!
