My boyfriend and I went with the Omakase Sashimi and ordered a few extra plates on the side. Most of the sashimi in the omakase was delicious, but the seared toro was definitely the highlight of the meal. SIMPLY AMAZING -- so buttery, it melts in your mouth. This is probably the best toro I have had the in bay area. We also loved the baby lobster nigiri. Our set came with a dessert and we selected their matcha green tea tiramisu--a perfect way to end the meal!
I have been here for lunch separately and tried most of the lunch menu with some coworkers. Everything was tasty (Sam's special roll, dragon roll, unagi, spider, bentos etc.) but a bit pricey. I think only some of the items on the menu that are more special really deserve the exorbitant price tag. Service is quick but you will feel a bit rushed as the restaurant is always crowded, Make sure you call to make a reservation or come early, there is always a long line out the door.
