“A Bite back in time”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 May 2014

When you enter Nini's you step back in time. The service is personal, the food is freshly prepared and good. The biggest problem is whether to order lunch or breakfast. Menu is full of classics and all well done.

“Wonderful breakfast out on their patio!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 May 2014 via mobile

We passed up our free breakfast at the SFO Airport Inn & went straight to Nini's Cafe.. Trip Advisor really rocks! When unfamiliar with restaurants while on vacation, this site totally pointed us to the right places!
Delish breakfast, out on their adorable patio! Great coffee & great service, for this little gem!

“Great Breakfast Nook”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2014

We had business in the area, had read about Nini's, so we gave it try. We were glad that we did. It is a little difficult to locate and is "Off the beaten path". It is located in essentially a residential neighborhood and does not a a dedicate parking lot. We were lucky and found a spot right up front, but you might need to park a short distance. The area is clean, "safe" and the sidewalks are in good condition, so do not let this deter your visit.

My wife ordered pancakes, eggs and bacon ($9). The pancakes were well cooked and the bacon thck with a nice smokey flavor. I choose the hash and eggs($10). The hash was excellent, perhaps a little salty, but we are low salt diets, so I am sensative. My wife tasted the hash and declared it the best she has ever eaten.

The service was prompt, helpful and many of the patrons were locals who called each other and the staff by name. There are a dozen tables inside, a smaller back room and what appeared to be a delightful patio seating area.

Overall, the food was tasty, well prepared and reasonably priced. Next time we are in the area, we will return.

“A Neighborhood Gem!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 March 2014

Breakfast and lunch offerings. Great, fresh food--Large portions. Creative, varied menu. Original decor, not just the feel of an place with history but history all over the place. Some of the best, thickest bacon I've ever had.
The staff is efficient and personable.
Bring your patience or call in your order to go--once you eat the food, you will understand the line, the repeat customers and the loyalty.

“A hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 March 2014

Nini's is located in an unpretentious building in a quiet neighborhood. My friend and I ate lunch there on the way from the San Francisco Airport. We sat in a lovely covered patio outside and had a really good lunch. I had a garlic burger with grilled onions. That sounds ordinary, but it was very tasty. I have a small appetite, but I really pigged out on this 1/2 pound burger. My friend had a burger with blue cheese which she devoured, along with a nice salad. Our server was super friendly. We enjoyed our visit.
