We stayed at this hotel and just had to try the food too. Such an interesting menu and great looking scene. They were so patient with us when we agonized over dining inside or out... Could we talk with friends over the lively band inside or would we be cold outside???? The hostess assured us we'd be comfortable outside and had staff surround our table with heaters. It was heavenly. Only a few other diners outside on a Tuesday night and perfect for conversation, while we could watch happy diners and dancing through the French doors. Subtle and attentive wait staff, lovely china and meal presentations. Never rushed and never had to wait. We were happy with our choices.... Beet salad with goat cheese, squash ravioli, mushroom pasta, short ribs and more. I would have used more seasonings/herbs/spices... Food seemed under-seasoned... But the flavors were simple and clear, and well prepared. Very good by-the-glass wine selection. We would return for the service and ambiance.
