This center is awesome for all ages! They change out their themes often to make it worth going again and again. Not only do you have fun but you learn so much.

“Perfect for Kids 10 and Under”
Reviewed 16 April 2014

This is a great starter museum for young kids and there are things to be learned by us older folks too! They recently had a bubble exhibit and show which was at once silly and fun. We have been to some seemingly "gross" exhibits on bodily functions but they attracted the kids and turned out to be very informative. There are a lot of hands on and interactive activities. Much better than the average children's museum.

“Not really a museum”
Reviewed 9 January 2014

While there are fun activities for kids here, it's more like a play space with a science theme than a true science museum. There are a lot of hands-on activities, but very little scientific explanation about why the gadgets or experiments work. The entire "Ripley" section of the museum contains many oddities and a biographical video about Robert Ripley, but little if any science. The hockey section on the second floor is a branding opportunity for the Anaheim Ducks. When my daughter participated in a quick activity which showed how candy dyes separate and don't mix in water until disturbed, I had to ask the presenter, "And why don't they mix?" The answer was, "Because they have different densities." Without the explanation, the candy activity is just a fun trick, not a science exploration.

If you do go to this site, you don't have to eat the Taco Bell or Pizza Hut offerings in the onsite restaurant. Your admission is good all day if you hang onto your tickets. So you can leave your car parked in the lot and walk a couple of blocks to a large number of different quick-service restaurants.

“Hands On!”
Reviewed 12 December 2013

This is a great place for kids and adults alike. Highly recommended for families. Lots of interactive and hands on activities for you to do. The admission was a little bit expensive though and they don't take AAA discount. Also they accept Bank of America Museum on us free admission only on a Sunday. Tip: If you want to save $ 4 parking fee park at the Westfield mall just across and just walk one block or 2.

Great place to take the kids for the day! Lots of things to do and a lot better than travelling to Los Angeles and a lot less crowded. Kids love it!
