“Safest way to go Wine Tasting”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

My husband and I got away for an overnight stay in Solvang and booked Grapeline. CHRISTOPHER was our guide and he was AMAZING! He set up a beautiful lunch for us, tablecloths and all, and was a wealth of information. He was very fun and there was never an awkward moment. We felt well taken care of by him. This is the way to wine taste responsibly. And for making a good choice you get to be spoiled for the day! A must do.....

“$129 Worth of Fun, Fantastic Vistas, Great Wines”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Great experience with Tommy-- our pleasant, polished, professional, and fun guide and driver. We visited 4 vineyards--Firestone, Beckman (a star amongst the bright lights) Lincourt, and Buttonwood (really charming farm and vineyard.) There were just 6 of us last Wednesday, 3 couples each unknown to each other. We were a compatible group.

Tommy collected us in Santa Barbara at our hotel. The price is a bit lower if you're collected somewhere in the Santa Ynez valley area. The Firestone was a good place to begin with a tour of the entire growing to production process by an engaging guide. All of the tasting rooms were air conditioned (a godsend during the 100 degree day heat wave) and ranged from exquisite to very pleasant.

The Beckman Winery was an exceptional star. Their wines are just exquisite and just magically different, in my view from their competitors. I wish I could remember the name of the enormously knowledgeable and extremely friendly young man who poured the tastings for us. Don't miss tasting Block 8 if you get a chance. Wonderous.

We had lunch in a lovely gazebo at the Beckman, complete with tablecloth, cloth napkins, and real plates to munch our lunch. We were charmed by a cute, well fed mouser who was certain I was going to share some of my prosciutto with him.

Buttonwood is also a farm and grows 17 varieties of peaches. Too bad we were a little early for peach season. Their wines were wonderful too, as they were at all of the vineyards.

It was an excellent day. Highly recommended.

“Great trip and a great time”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

We were picked up by Grapevine in Santa Barbara and toured and sampled wine from 4 separate vineyards. Tom was a wonderful guide who's knowledge and humor made the trip the success that it was. He also took us to an olive oil farm which my wife thoroughly enjoyed. We would strongly recommended this tour to anyone.

“Wonderful tour with an amazing guide!”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

We recently joined Grapeline Tours for a couples trip. Although we expected to have a fun day, this tour definitely exceeded our expectations! Our first stop was at Roblar Winery and nearly all of us joined the wine club...the wines were delicious, but our host, Carey, was so welcoming and gracious that he made you want to buy more!

Christopher from Grapeline was the best guide anyone could ask for...knowledgeable, funny and accommodating with our loud and crazy group. We will be back to to Santa Barbara and we will be asking for Christopher again.

“Wonderful Day!”
Reviewed 28 April 2014

Visiting the area for the first time and our host Christopher immediately set the tone of the tour with a friendly smile and introductions to the whole group who we did not know before the tour. We had a wonderful tour and had a great time at each of the wineries with a great group of people! Nice lunch, great host! Can't wait to come back!
