“Lovely hotel”

What a find! We stayed here for one night and wished we were here longer. Lovely rooms, lovely pool & a really nice location.
Only problem we had was that we were charged an extra $15 for a rollaway bed despite having booked & paid for one in advance. This didn't take away from the charm of the place though - we loved it & would definitely stay again.
Tip - have dinner at Lucky's next door - the food is amazing!

Historical old is ok with me for one night, great if you need to stop in for the night off the hwy.
In my case family bought a home up the street and we were busy decorating. We stayed here one and only because four seasons was booked. So we moved over the next night. Rooms are small but the beds were big and clean. The best part for me was the wilted spinach salad that I still crave to this day at the " LUCKYS" next door to hotel... DON'T MISS OUT U HAVE TO EAT THERE !

Room Tip: Rooms in front of hotel are noisy

My wife and I spent 2 nights at the Inn. It is in a great location albeit beside the highway. I read reviews that the highway was noisey - but we did not hear anything and just to be sure had a room overlooking the mountains. The rooms are very tastefully done keeping that "old style" charm. The Inn is clean and the service is very good. It is only a short walk to the beach and close to a number of good restaurants. It was a pleasant stay and we are recommending it to friends who are travelling in the area. Suggest - a bike ride along the beach to Santa Barbara as the view is fantastic.

LOVED this place and would most definitely stay there again. Yes, the rooms were a bit small in comparison to newer more "modern" hotels, but it was charming. The bed was VERY comfortable! There were several nice touches to the room, including a bottle of wine, luxurious bath robes in the closet, thick towels, etc. The location was also wonderful. Can't wait to go back for another romantic weekend!

When on business I almost always stay here. Great location and easy to get to a few nice restaurants close by. Nice bar and good breakfast. The staff is always polite. If you want room to work get a room with king bed and desk.
Not the place for a romantic getaway unless your young, as my wife likes to say, this is a boys or lady's work spot.

Stayed one night at the Montecito Inn due to meetings in Santa Barbara. The hotel is charming and historic, but the "full" room is very small. I upgraded to a standard queen to have a desk and more room to navigate the room. Great view of mountains from the terrace. Bedding and amenities are comfortable, valet parking is $8 and free wireless. I have lunch at the Cafe and it was perfect for a business meeting and wonderful, fresh cuisine. The Inn is on the High Street of Montecito so there are many restaurants within walking distance, and you are a short walk away from the ocean. Overall, good value. Staff was attentive and helpful. Very pleasant continental breakfast in the Cafe was included, which was a wonderful way to start the day.

Room Tip: Go for the Queen at a minimum, and ask to be away from the street if you want quiet.
