Reservations are a must for weekend nights. This place is casuel dress, has great atmosphere, & both of us thought our food was perfect. I had a grilled-wild caught salmon (it was the special) with asparagus, & rice pilaf, my husband had steak. Salad & breads also came with the meal. We were too full to eat dessert. The bread was so-so but everything else was exceptional.
A couple of years ago we had lunch there while in Santa Barbara and liked it so much we made a point of going back. This is a "rustic" place that I realize not everyone will like so check out the website before you go. It is on a mountain road in the hills above Santa Barbara, very twisty, and little parking, an adventure. Don't go there for a quick bite but for an experience (it is more than the food but the food is good too).
