Selected this property as part of our anniversary trip on the PCH. Room was ready when we arrived a little early for the official check in. We were greeted by very friendly staff and the room was fantastic. Every time we encountered a staff member we were greeted with smiles... it was a great way to enjoy the new year, with such pleasant people! We were gifted champagne for our anniversary which we used to ring in the new year. We ordered room service which was quick, correct, and very tasty. Hotel gives discount for a coffee shop and adjacent restaurant, Eladios. Reckoned this restaurant high for breakfast. Choose to eat outside, if weather permits.
Hotel walls can be a bit thin and parking fee is not horrible at $10/day. Shower was great and separate tub was great as well. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious with plenty of seating, not just the bed and a chair. Sliding class doors open to allow a great breeze and it never seemed to allow in sounds from the street.
Location is right across from beach and near pier. Close to State St (shopping, movies, eateries), but will need to drive or take other transportation because it is too far to walk.
Wish we could have stayed linger and would stay here again without question.More
