Everything about this wine tour was phenomenal. The booking process was a breeze -- Bryan responded to phone calls and emails right away, and when the number in our group changed at the last minute, he accommodated us with no issues. There ended up being 8 of us, so he arranged for us to have a van all to ourselves. And HE was our tour guide! He picked us up from the hotel right and took us to four spectacular wineries. He has asked us to send him our wine preferences before the trip, so I felt like the tour was really tailored to us. The selection was varied enough to give us a real feel for the valley, and his excellent relationships with the winemakers make for very personalized . Ask him about his experience in the business, too. He's done a little of everything! We loved talking to the different wine makers, asking lots of questions, and tasting such different wines. At one point he even pulled over so we could walk through some vines, taste some grapes, and even check the brix levels of a few! Each of the wineries was so generous, as well. We visited four wineries (Dragonette, Demetria, Beckman, and Cimarone) and had an amazing time at each. We never felt rushed (except that we got too chatty with Demetria so we had to make sure we got to Beckman before the closed! Our fault entirely ;-) The very reasonable price of Sustainable Vine is absolutely worth every penny and more. We not only tasted incredible wine, but we learned so much and gained a real appreciation for the valley and the art of winemaking. And the picnic lunch was TERRIFIC! We ate at a beautiful table at Demetria, overlooking the vineyard-covered hillsides. Heaven. I would go back in a heartbeat and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Well done, Sustainable Vine. And thank you Bryan!

Highly recommend this tour because of the experience, attention to detail, and the wines. If you are sustainable-focused, greater, but the main point is high-quality for the tour and excellent wines sampled during the experience. If you want to see the Area, and the learn about wine. And to sample the very best, then choose this tour.

Scott took us on a great tour that started with an opportunity to learn about the area with Jessica at Dragonette. Jessica and Scott provided great information about the geography, geology, terroir, and how the climate changes in the valleys as you move west to east (gets hotter!). Jessica poured some great wines that provided a great representation of the region. We then went to Beckman and had some great wines and a really nice picnic lunch. After that, Refugio Ranch's tasting room in downtown Los Olivos was great and provided us with some future plans (going to Los Olivos tomorrow!). Our last vineyard was Brander. The wines here were also really nice as were the folks that worked the tasting room.

Scott and Sustainable Vine provided a great experience that was both fun and educational at the same time!

Is Sustainable Vine! If you are coming for a weekend or a week or whatever, work this into your schedule. We came for a girls weekend, but there was a couple on our tour as well, and we had an awesome time together. It is truly wonderful. Scott went above and beyond for us, his level of service made the tour exceptional. He showed up right on time and had a clean, spacious, comfortable van. There were at total of four wineries (and an impromptu stop at a Lavender Farm!). In addition to the fun of tasting, Scott really provided us with some incredible knowledge about the history and ecology of the region. There was no rushing or timetables or anything like that; it was just a laid back, amazing experience and a wonderful introduction to the wines of the region, and there was absolutely no pressure to buy any wine, although I did, and you will want to also. We went to some great boutique wineries that are dedicated to creating beautiful wines. I'm sure there are cheaper tours but this is worth every penny and more. Scott is passionate and dedicated to the environment and the wine and it sets this tour apart from any other in this region. If you do only one thing, only one excursion in Santa Barbara this should be it. Also, a special shout out to Jessica from Dragonette Cellars, who made our last stop really excellent and answered all of our questions and tailored our tasting to our palettes.

Many thanks to Scott and Sustainable Vine for an incredible wine experience!

My sister and best friend booked this wine tour as part of my bachelorette trip to Santa Barbara a few weeks ago and we couldn't have been happier. SUCH A GREAT DAY!!!!! Scott was incredibly accommodating and picked us up from a different location than what we had originally asked for, saving us a walk back to our hotel. We ended up being the only 3 on tour that day and Scott made sure that we were well taken care of and having fun the whole time. His car was spacious, comfortable, and clean, fully stocked with water bottles to keep us hydrated throughout the tour. It was a luxury experience from the start, but not at all pretentious. Scott was very personable, friendly, and knowledgable. He provided additional info throughout the day and has the credentials to back it up. We all had a blast hanging out with him during the tour, but he was also good about knowing when it was appropriate to give the three of us time to ourselves. The wineries we visited were all excellent. The wines were top notch (we even bought some, which we wouldn't normally do) and the scenery was unparalleled. Lunch was delicious and Scott made sure we got to enjoy it in a beautiful spot at one of our stops. We felt like the pace of the tour was perfect. We were occupied the whole time, but also very relaxed. Scott truly catered to us and our needs/personalities. I think I can speak for the other two and say that it was a very special experience and one that we'll never forget. I've been on tours in Napa and the Loire Valley, but this was my favorite without a doubt. I absolutely plan to return one day with my husband or friends. Thanks again, Sustainable Vine and Scott!!!
