The price to play Sandpiper is basically for the views, which are pretty cool. The conditions of the course when my buddy and I played were not that good. For what I paid, I was pretty disappointed with what I got. Fairways were in ok shape the and the roughs were poor. Lots of dead patches in the fairways. Staff was very nice at the course. If I go back to Santa Barbara, not sure I would spend the money to play there. I would say an avid golfer will be less then impressed with the course
