“Nice place”

We stayed one night at this property. It had free covered parking a microwave and fridge. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and everyone was extremely helpful. The hotel was full of many families and sports teams but it was quiet in the evening. The Internet was not free and try to stay on the upper floors. Overall I would stay here again if I were in the area.

I was impressed at how quiet my room in this hotel was, even though it was fairly crowded due to the start of a holiday weekend! Wifi was free and it was nice to have a suite instead of just a room. Breakfast was good, although it was only the buffet instead of the cook-to-order breakfast that is normally available during the week. Terrific value for the money!

This hotel was very nice. It's located a bit outside of shopping areas so it's nice and quiet. They had a great buffet breakfast and even offered free drinks (wine, spirits, beer) in the evening! The room was typical but nice. The bathroom was a bit small but no big deal. Very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would defintely stay here again.

I started off with a good impression of this property because the gentleman who picked me up in the nice shuttle van was so polite and then turned out he work the registration desk too. Contrary to the previous review, I did have free wi-fi. And ditto the breakfast comment, incredible variety and choice for this free breakfast. I didn't really like the wine served at the free happy hour, but hey it was free. My room was nice. A good chair and large desk to work at, nice bed and bathroom.

I really wanted to love this hotel. I'll start off with the good. I got a great rate on a last minute deal, but even their normal rates are very reasonable. The location is nice and quiet but still close to the freeway. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool/patio area is awesome. They also had one of the best free breakfasts I've ever had: potatoes, pancakes, waffles, made to order omelettes and more. Throw in a nice business center and fitness room and this place is looking really good. Now, just a few small things are holding the hotel back from being great. There's no free wifi in the rooms...only the common areas! A hotel in Santa Clara that's trying to be business friendly HAS to have free wifi in the room. Charging for it is tacky and smells of nickel-and-diming. My suite had 2 nice big flat screen HDTVs, but only about 30 channels and no HD reception...why get widescreen HDTVs and not pay for HD programming? Lastly, while the patio was nice and inviting, they don't allow any outside food or drink. I had a 4 pack of my favorite craft beer that I can only find when I'm in the bay area and was stuck drinking it in my room instead of enjoying the patio. If I'd been able to take a bottle outside, maybe I would have ordered an appetizer or a cocktail. How is letting me drinking my beer outside hurting the hotel? All it does is inconvenience the customer. Instead I just stayed in my room with no wifi and watched stretched out cheap programming on the nice HDTV. I'm glad I tried this place, but next time I'll stick with holiday inn express.

This hotel offers spacious suites at reasonable prices. I stayed for 5 nights and the experience was generally good. The people in the reception are friendly and they have a small snack shop adjacent to the reception which is very useful for travelers like us who feel like taking a light snack occasionally. The swimming pool is very good but crowded during the weekends. I used to love the breakfast especially the breads and the juices but somehow this time I felt that the quality of the breakfast has deteriorated. Nice location. No wonder this hotel has a good occupancy.
