For what you pay a night for the 'Park and Fly' special, you really should get a lot more. There's a lot of hotels in the area that provide the same service and are a much better value.

Firstly, while the rooms have technically been renovated recently and are nice on the inside, it's pretty clear they spent all of their renovation funds on the interior and didn't bother to update their windows. I didn't sleep at all the night we stayed as I could hear every car that passed, every conversation out on the hallway and every guest that showed up in the night. It might as well have been made out of tissue paper.

The biggest sell on this deal was the 'Park and Fly'. Leave your car there and they'll get you to the airport. That's the bait. The switch is that there's not a 'shuttle', you get a 'voucher' for a local cab company to take you to the airport and a second voucher for the way home. This worked fine getting TO the airport, but on the way home no cabbies would take this voucher. My wife, infant son and I stood outside the airport at the taxi stand for an hour while we tried to find a cabbie to take us to the hotel. It was to the point that the guy working the cab stand was about to take us home himself. The hotel had no suggestions on how to fix it - just were 'upset' that the cabbies weren't taking the voucher.

I was scheduled for two nights, one night on either side of our trip. My experience was so bad that I cancelled the second night and we drove home through the night. Add to that the cluster with the cab, and it makes it an experience I wouldn't want to repeat.

Until they fix their sound issues, and have their own shuttle you'll get a better value staying somewhere else.

I was hoping for more paying around $100 per night. room was big and clean but needs an update. Location is ok but not great...don't think I would come back..not because it is bad but I think I can do better for the money.

I stayed here once before when it was called Days Inn. It is by understanding that the owners decided that rather then pay the franchise fee they would invest that money in the property. I am not sure if they have because I haven't seen any.
PROS: The check in was pleasant and quick. The morning breakfast was okay. Bed was comfy.
CONS: Broken wall plates. Pillows were terrible even though there were about 6 of them. Housekeeping was inconsistent. The towels were hard and didn't feel good to use to dry with.
Construction trucks park in the parking lot so if you come in late you have to park in the back. Lighting is poor.
If they made an effort to fix even minor issues it would go a long way. The set up is awkward. Sink is on one side and the towel rack on the opposite. The microwave and fridge (good thing to have) are so low on the floor one has to practical sit on the floor to use them.
Wifi was iffy. Sometimes it worked well and sometimes it didn't.

Where do I start...I'm not sure if it was wallpaper adhesive or what but most of wallpaper joints were pealing and had red stuff all over them. The night stand had white stuff on it, the walls in the bathroom were dirty, right outside the window there was bird poop all over the ledges. Most of these things could of be easily fixed in my opinion...just by the cleaners doing a better job.

The highlight about the place was the nice lady that let us check in early, she was very nice and professional!

The room was clean and comfortable, much better than I had been expecting. It seems that it had been redecorated recently. There was a coffee maker and a small microwave oven in the room, although I didn't try the latter.

The receptionists were both extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also a pleasant surprise, with cornflakes, croissants, bagels, coffee and orange juice.

There is a reasonable Thai restaurant and a small convenience/liquor store just a couple of minutes from the motel.

Pro: Room was much bigger (including a full-size couch and coffee table) and better appointed than I expected for the price. (I got a deal for $90/night.) Room and bathroom were clean, with a good shower. Free wireless Internet was extremely reliable. Free breakfast was about what you'd expect for a lobby cold-breakfast spread, and I was pleasantly surprised to find both a small microwave and a small fridge in the room.

Con: Pillows a bit lumpy and towels a bit skimpy. Biggest problem, though, is the noise: this motel is located near two major roads. Other reviewers who said this place is quiet need to get their hearing checked - traffic was constant nearly all night, including trucks.

If noise doesn't both you, this is a good choice for the location and price.

When travelling to Santa Clara for business I normally stay at the Mission Inn.

The motel has quiet, spacious, and clean rooms with kitchenette areas. It's close to the freeways so there's easy access to all major offices, El Camino Real, San Jose, and Santa Clara airport.

The room rates are wallet friendly and there's a free morning breakfast spread.

Recommended for budget business travel to Santa Clara.
