The walls are so thin you join in the conversation with the people staying next to you. The firmness settings were broken on my bed. Half of the bed was stuck on firm and the other on soft. It was like sleeping on a small hill.

We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago so tried it again. They were "remodeling" and in somewhat of a state of confusion. When I made the reservation I asked for an upstairs King size room and was assured there would be no problem. When we checked in there were no king bed rooms available on the second floor but we were given a very nice and comfortable quiet room on the first floor. We had no problems getting TO our room at check in, BUT within an hour the only way to the lobby was to go out to the parking lot and walk around to the lobby or wander through the first floor until you found a door that would eventually get you to the lobby. Our hall had been completely boarded up.

We had to send a fax and asked if the guest business office had a fax we could use and was told no but they could send one for us. The very nice lady took our fax to the back came back a couple of minutes later said it was sent but when asked for the receipt and was told it could as much as a half hour to get their fax machine could print one out??

The room was nice except for those sleep number King beds. We have a sleep number at home and it is very comfortable but those in the hotel are the worse. After this stay here, at our next HGI we requesting two queens instead, and got a very good night's sleep.

This is not one of "we will return" hotels. It's convenient for Six Flags if you are a tourist though.

We stayed recently for one night on a visit to Magic Mountain and were pleasantly surprised by the property. Rooms are good-sized (particularly the spacious deluxe kings), nicely furnished and quiet even though the hotel is in close proximity to I-5. The hotel is clean and well maintained (there is some remodeling construction going on at present but it did not impact us at all.) A pool and hot tub are located in the center courtyard. A free shuttle is provided for the short trip to Magic Mountain which will return to the park for pick-up. The most memorable aspect of our visit was the staff, however. We found them to be friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Front desk, shuttle driver and housekeeping were all standouts. We would happily go back again.

Room Tip: Our rooms faced the attractive center courtyard on the opposite side of the building from the freeway which we did to hear at all.

We have stayed here MANY times, as we have family in the area. This visit was for our grandson's 2nd birthday.

There was major construction going on in many of the room, the lobby, and also the dining area. Once we found where the check-in was, staff was VERY nice.

It would have been helpful to have the temporary check-in location better marked, especially for those arriving at night.

With the dining room being redone, the breakfast was served in a different area than usual, also. That meant lots of extra walking for the staff, but . . they kept at it.

Our room has always been clean, and once we caught onto the fact that you can and need to change the control on the bed to adjust for firmness, we have done OK - we now adjust that as soon as we get into the room. Adjusting it is inconvenient - you have to take the sheet corner off to get to the control! Oh well - people who design things rarely are the users!!!

Again - the staff was great - they, too, are working under less-than-perfect conditions and remained cheerful and w/a smile.

The plantation shutters on the sliding glass doors could use some repair.

I was happy with the room and the location for the price that Hotwire got me. For a family looking to have a family outing at Six Flags this is a great location with plenty of rooms. They are currently going through a remodeling.
