I loved our room in Pacific Blue Inn. The room was clean, clean, clean. I love the modern feel and spacious room. The wall art is for sale and I was tempted to take them all home. The walk-in shower was fun. The location is perfect - within walking distance of downtown and the beach. We left our car parked most of the time. It is off the beaten path and therefore more quite then the boardwalk hotels.
We opted out of the breakfast for cost reasons, thinking that The Mill coffee shop would have breakfast foods. They only sell muffins and bagels. Other folks raved about the food, so we will opt in next time.
~We did take advantage of the free bicycles. There is a wonderful path along the ocean that led us to tide pools and Natural Bridges State Park. The bikes were first rate!
~Do eat breakfast at least once at the Walnut Creek Cafe.
~Do ask where you can find the less crowded beaches.
~Do get out on the water. We rented sea kayaks and floated with the sea otters, spotted 3 dolphins and viewed a seal parked on a walkway under the dock.
