Clearly, this is an old strip motel. Standard architecture with doors to the street and windows to the courtyard. The rooms are spacious, yet pretty standard. The (apparently) new management has renovated the facilities, which means new electronics, carpets and, in particular beds. The bed is very comfortable, which is a great plus for me. However, overall comfort comes with the type of hotel and room layout: pretty average.
Breakfast is typical paper plates & cup with granola, baked goods, boiled eggs (perfect for me!) and some milk products and fruit. Vanilla and not special, but does the trick.
I stayed here for business, would not book this place privately, especially because it is far from downtown Santa Cruz.More
