The lamb burger is awesome. The Basa Metsaltsa is amazing and I almost always order it. I miss the lamb in pomegranate cream sauce. That was delicious! The dahl is the best value with hearty delicious soup and fresh baked naan bread. Cash only!

We got sick there after just a simple rice dish. Check out the kitchen. Yuk. It has interesting choices, but lots of money for very dicey results. Watch out for additional surprise objects in food like hair or sponges.

Joze may not be Indian but he knows how to cook, even when wearing his hat. I had the Dragon Chicken which had a little bit too much lemon for my taste but was nevertheless very good. India Joze is a small, crowded, rather loud place, playing gamelan music to a very diverse public which seems to consist of very loyal regulars. I would certainly go there again. And it's very cheap!

The food is all made from scratch. Even the catsup. There is a bar of free salsa-like sauces that hail from all over the world. The portions are huge and the price is cheap. I love the pad-thai with mussels, the Lebanese green salad with pita points, the fish dishes, the tofu-djawa and the indian dahl served with fresh baked home-made bread. The drinks are also varied and unlike any mix found in most restaurants. I love the gin-gin drink served both hot and cold, the chai tea is to die for and if that isn't enough try the mud-pie with homemade ice cream and brownie crust. WOW. Happy Eating.

india joze is one of those unique eateries, like low-rent exotic, if that were a thing. the food was good but the portions were small and overpriced. i can appreciate that in india the portions are smaller, but this is america and i was still hungry after eating everything on my plate. for the amount of money, i can think of about 10 other places nearby that i would rather eat at. india joze is good but not worth the money.
