Funky little place that has the nicest people working there... Only open like 7am to 2:00 pm ...
And not a Huge men, which is, I think why they get it SO RIGHT!

Nice playlist adds to the funky ambiance

“Rustic, and classic breakfast joint”
Reviewed 29 July 2014

Off the beaten path and you definitely need GPS if you're a tourist. About 3-4 miles from downtown and the beach but worth the trip. We stopped in about 10am on a Monday and still had to wait about 10 minutes to get in. But the service was excellent. This place is known for its range of egg benedicts and it has the usual traditional on English muffins, Florentine, shrimp and crab, etc. Avocados is common on the benedicts. I had a special for the day: Polenta bene. Very cool. Never had that version before. Topping the polenta cake (slightly spicy hot), avocado, hollandaise. Included was home fries or hash browns. I had the home fries with green onions sprinkled on top. You might like to add a CUP of fruit (my wife had a bowl) as a side just because the fruit are ripe and sweet (except for the crunchy mango). Lots of picnic tables outside, which gives you an idea of the atmosphere and decor. But despite its name, its nowhere near the water

“Best breakfast in the area hands down! ”
Reviewed 28 June 2014 via mobile

My family stopped here for breakfast during summer vacation from Texas on June 24th and returned again the next day it was so good. Possibly one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. I went here based on trip advisor reviews and it was better than expected. Should be ranked #1. Everyday there is a special. I had banana pancakes for $1 each and the next day $5 for basic breakfast. Great staff, cool place close to the harbor. Great homemade salsa. Don't waste your time at sea breeze, walnut cafe or Zachary's in Santa Cruz. Harbor cafe is where it's at!

“Best fish and chips”
Reviewed 27 June 2014

Went here for lunch. We had a pitcher of beer and fish and chips. Service was excellent. Food was very good. Best fish and chips we have had in Santa Cruz. Relaxing atmosphere on the deck watching the boats come in and out. Great atmosphere for beach dining.
