Beautifully, renovated Inn in an otherwise motel-heavy area. This beautiful Victorian sits atop a hill that overlooks Santa Cruz and the Boardwalk.
There are only 9-10 or so rooms and there is no night-time staff and so it is not "full-service". That being said, however, there is breakfast served in common dining room that is sufficient (muselix, fruit, hard boiled eggs, coffee, breads, tea) and there is afternoon tea (breads, pudding, tea, coffee, fruit).
The rooms are smallish - more like a B&B than a hotel, but beautifully appointed - marble bathrooms, flat panel TVs, firm beds... Also there is free wi-fi.
The hotel is kept very tidy and the staff is very friendly. The hotel provides parking for its guests.More
