“Rancho is Masculine-Feminine”
Reviewed 10 August 2013

One of the finest, and beautifully breezy on the outdoor lawn. Perfect winery to do an afternoon picnic, men and women will be happy with the wine and the rustic decor. The white 2011 Sylvaner is the afternoon wine of choice to accompany your picnic snacks. Yes, "Rancho" is quite a bit out of the way, it's tucked away on some back roads. If you're hitting up "Curtis," "Koehler" or "Zaca Mesa" on your day tour, then going down the extra zig-zagging road for "Rancho" is definitely a worthy conclusion.

“Great Day at Rancho Sisquoc”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

This Saturday, notes our third "Open House at Rancho Sisquoc" and I know will enjoy it very much. The day starts with a tour of the wine manufacturing facility, then we enjoy a great Santa Maria BBQ in the early afternoon. Following this, we tour a vineyard where we have a grape counting contest where we guess grape production on a section of vines. Again we taste Rancho Sisquoc wines at little bars all around the grounds at the beautiful picnic grounds. We will have a happy time as this trip, we will have our daughter Katie with us to enjoy the event.

“Prettiest setting and grounds in the valley”
Reviewed 13 July 2013

Not only was the wine delicious, but the setting under the canopies of gorgeous trees was lovely. The place is relaxing, too, due to its location off a small road rather than along a busier roadside.

“you should go”
Reviewed 17 June 2013

the yard and patio is beautiful, so much attention is given to the presentation so you have a wonderful experience, theres alot of shade and plenty spots where you can get sun, great for a picnic and the wine was great, my husband is not into wine, much less dry wine, but he enjoyed it here and couldnt get over the free wine glasses and that they were stemless. lol!!! he's never gone wine tasting. great location, and i would definatly go back to visit when i'm in the area again.
