“Get up early for the sunrise”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2014

The sun rises here around 6am. Take a ride to the Santa Monica Mountains down Pacific Highway and then up into the mountains to catch the first rays of sunlight. Views a well worth the early start.

“Very beautiful and scenic”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

I love hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains. I grew up in Santa Monica and was a runner so I have seen a lot of them. If you are a tourist, the best place to start is Will Rodgers State Park. They have trials that are clearly laid out and provide beautiful vantage points. There is also a bathroom and water fountains. Most hikes are gentle enough to take kids and dogs are allowed.

“Great Place to Get Back to Nature”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

We hiked in the Franklin Canyon Park, which is part of the Santa Monica Mountains. The weather was beautiful the day we were there, so we never got too hot. It's a fun day trip.

We were able to take a ride on Mulholland Drive and made several stops to enjoy the views. It was wonderful to be able to take in all the beauty.

“Hiking Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 June 2014

The Santa Monica Mountains have easy trails as well as more difficult ones. When you are there the views are plentiful. The breeze comes off the water and it is supposed to be the best air around La.
