“Me Love Milo & Olive!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2014

What a cool place! No reservations, so you have to wait in line, but it's fun. Communal tables make for a unique dining experience, since you never know who you are going to be seated next to. The waiters are super nice and the food is fresh and and delicious.
There are tons of "Small Plates" to choose from.....including free range chicken meatballs, sauteed kale, spiced carrot soup and lots of other interesting taste treats. Next time I will try the wood fired Garlic Knot....
There are salads, pastas, and a large selection of pizzas. Everything is quite reasonable.

“Nothing Special”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 January 2014

We met friends there for small gathering. Luckily it was 4 pm on a Sunday so it was not busy. The food is just okay, nothing special. They offer the typical gourmet type pizza, and average tasting chopped salad with a little arugula and tiny amounts of pepperoni. We had to ask for classes for water they only brought 4 when there 6 of us. the desserts were nothing outstanding and similar to tasting to ones that you good get a a chain type bakery. This the type of restaurant that one has to question popular? REALLY?

I love the food here. The pizzas, salads, starters are all delicious. Their desserts and coffee rock.

“Milo & Olive, Los Angeles”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Good simple organic style food with an excellent wine list and delicious baked goods. Owned by same people as Huckleberry, Rustic Canyon, etc... Seating is at counter overlooking kitchen or at one of two large 8 person tables. Crowd is mostly older or families with young kids. Good for an efficient, moderately priced meal. Pizzas a bit expensive $18-20

“Almost perfect”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 October 2013

First - if you mind communal seating, don't go. But even if you do ... or are on the edge, GO! The servers are great, the food fun and the wine list more than acceptable. They mitigate the long lines by offering small tastes and the ability to order a glass of wine while you are waiting in line. The pizza is fun and changes with the season. Go - enjoy!!
