“Wonderful and flavorful dinner”
Reviewed 27 August 2014

Apart from the 45 minute wait for dinner at 6pm, we had a fantastic time here. Be warned the restaurant does not take reservations! Fortunately, you can sit outside or stand with drinks near the entrance while waiting for a table. Seating was communal style but this didn't bother us.

Dinner was delicious. Peaches have been abundant this summer so we tried two appetizer specials that had grilled peaches in them and they were fantastic. Main dishes--we had 3 different pastas between the 3 of us--were also tasty and unique. Try the garlic knot and definitely sample the daily specials; I get the sense that the chefs try to utilize local ingredients based on seasonal availability. The pizzas across the table from us looked tasty, but you can order these takeout and have them brought out to your car, so I would recommend not wasting your time ordering them in-house.

“Fabulous Food”
Reviewed 25 August 2014

Liked: High quality food (fresh, abundant, delicious), fast and courteous service, house-made almond milk lattes (!)
Disliked: hard to get a seat at lunch rush-hour (go early) and then you have to go to much lower quality nearby places for lunch. After being spoiled by M&O food, other places are not as tasty (nor feel as healthy for you).

“Wow!”
Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

Fresh food, creative menu and friendly staff. We came here for lunch and I had some of the best food I've eaten in a while. Grilled peaches with a burrata, fresh pizza, pesto with fresh noodles, garlic knots and lemon meringue. It's communal tables and not a lot of seating but that didn't bother us (the other patrons at the table were wonderful!) great for a quick take out or for a sit down meal- avoid peak hours if you're a big group!

“Garlic Not!”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

We've been to this place several times and almost always enjoyed the food. Their french toast is wonderful and the egg specials are incredible.

We stopped in for dinner one night and unfortunately the experience tarnished our opinion. The famous garlic knot was nice but not something we'd make a trip for. The crust on my pizza was so thin and soggy that it fell apart and I had to eat it with a fork (couldn't even attempt to fold it in half NY style!).

If you go stick to breakfast or brunch. That's when they're at their best.

“Best Garlic Knot”
Reviewed 7 August 2014

Garlic lovers must try the garlic knot here. Whole garlic cloves, with olive oil, are wrapped in delicious bread dough, which is tied with a string, then baked to a golden brown. The garlic roasts inside the dough. The garlic knot takes about 20 minutes and is served hot from the oven, drizzled with olive oil. The restaurant is small and does get crowded; but, the wait is not too long. All the menu items are prepared with fresh ingredients and are full of flavor.
