The view from this spot is great, watching planes take off, and not a bit of noise. The resto itself is asian cuisine and good, novel, but not great, but it does not matter, because it is such an interesting place to go, and the drinks and wine lists are also very good. What makes this place special, in addition to it being hidden away at the airport, is the music that is offered. Not just jazz, but blues, rand b etc and a place to dance. I have been there twice now, and both times the music has been fabulous. I heard the Mann sextet last night, which is one of those typical musicians get together to play, and the results were great. All top musicians with other gigs, and a chance to hear some really great jazz, especially cover arrangements by Paul McDonald (the keyboardist) of things like moaning, put it where you want it (Joe Sample), some Duke Ellington, Clare Fisher, etc. The sextet is composed of a bassist, drummer, saxc, trombone and trumpet, and a singer, Lauren Koval was also added to the mix. She is a great big band singer.... Hint for the group...do an arrangement of "you turned the tables on me " for her.
