Decided to stay here on a quick business trip and forgo the Hyatt and Marriott scene for a night. It was well worth it. Quick and efficient check in, charming lobby, and a short walk to my room past a beautiful fountain and cobblestone sidewalk. Bed was super comfortable and the clean, well-appointed but slightly dated (think quaint) room was spacious and quiet. I slept very well. Yummy breakfast restaurant started the day off right. Location is close to the city center but just a 7 or so minute drive will bring you worlds away. I will stay here again when in Santa Rosa.

Thank you. We're so glad you decided to give us a try. Vintners Inn is perfect for the business traveler or a romantic getaway. We even have a corporate program for very frequent travelers so if you think this might be you, please ask for me the next time you visit. Our rooms will soon be undergoing a refurbishing which should lighten and brighten them. Hopefully upon your return you'll like what you see. We look forward to greeting you again. Sue

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in this fantastic place. Bed was very comfortable, and we had a fireplace and balcony. Not unusual, but not expected at the price. Included in our package were 2 wine tours, half-off breakfast, and $75 credit at the on-site hotel (John Ash). All the add-ons were amazing as well, including the toys at Rodney Strong, and Medlock-Ames.

The location is not convenient for Napa, but is for Russian River and Alexander Valley.

We will absolutely stay at the Vintner's Inn again!!!

We like to travel in the winter to avoid the crowds plus you can get great rates and packages on hotels. We did with the Vintners Inn. Our friends went there last winter and loved it. So based on their referral we took the plunge and it was all they said it was and more. We had an upstairs room with a fireplace. It was lovely and ample and had a view of the vineyards. The complex is owned by Ferrari Carano Winery and it sits among acreas of John Ash Chardonnay vines. There is a nice walking trail through their vineyards. The front desk was very helpful both in their winery recommendations and by providing us with tasting discounts. The breakfast is not included but was great. The John Ash Restaurant is part of the complex which has a great happy hour and the restaurant is beautiful, however, there are better restaurants around. If you interested in visiting wineries that make great Pinots, Chards and Sav Blancs you are staying at the right place since its located in/near the Russian River AVA.

Room Tip: Upstairs is probably best and away from the entrance. We upgrade to a room with a fireplace since i...

A little slice of heaven on earth. From my arrival to departure, everything was just perfect. We were greeted by friendly woman at the front desk (I don't recall her name). She checked us in promptly, explained the grounds, nearby things to do and provided plenty of complementary wine tasting vouchers. Our room overlooked the vineyard, was well appointed, spacious and the easy to use fireplace made the room super cozy. We arrived just in time to watch the sun set over the vineyard, while enjoying our complementary bottle of wine and Belgium truffles- it was simple exquisite. What better way to start the day with complementary freshly brewed coffee and tazo tea, and end the day with freshly baked cookies delivered as part of the turn down service. Each morning we walked the trail after having breakfast in their cafe. Breakfast was also good and served in a cozy area of the main hotel.

A must is to visit the Medloc Ames (sp) winery. Super friendly and personable folks and the best wine I had during my visit to the west coast.

Room Tip: Ask to have a room that overlooks the vineyard...fire place is a must=)

I booked this hotel on a Travelzoo offer. It was a great relaxing stay. The hotel room was cozy and the bed was sooo comfy! We loved the cozy bar and the appetizers were yummy. The restaurant was beautiful and we especially loved sitting next to the fireplace. Food was great as well. The ballroom on property looked like a fabulous place to have a wedding reception. Great property and staff. Would love to go back!

My husband and i booked this quaint inn for our first trip to wine country. The reviews were solid and we loved that it was surrounded by vineyards. We were not disappointed. The grounds all around were lovely for walking around and offered great photo ops. We booked a room on the second floor with a fireplace and again, it did not disappoint.the room was large, the bed comfy and they provide 2 logs for using in the fireplace. We appreciated that they encourage you to pick up local cheeses and fruits to have with your wine that you will surely buy while out and about. The location was excellent - right off the main highway - but still peaceful. It made heading out to the wineries and getting home at night easy.
We did book at the restaurant John Ash and Co and very much enjoyed the food, service and ambience. A definite must do for a night.
We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Room Tip: Make sure you book the fireplace room. They are on the second floor of the buildings so you can sit...

We found this hotel through Travelzoo and are so glad we did! We stayed for two nights in a fireplace room on the second floor with the balcony. So romantic such a beautiful view…
We highly recommend it for couples looking for a special celebration weekend. The food at John Ash restaurant was outstanding! The prices were also expensive… But for a wonderful celebration you can't go wrong. The service was also excellent.
Don't hesitate to come to the Vintners Inn! I had never stayed in the more beautiful and accommodating hotel in this fine state!
