The service was excellent. The food was good. I had a breakfast and a lunch here. The Nor Cal Frittata was excellent and I really enjoyed the breakfast potatoes. Loved the scenery from the terrace.

If you are to tired to go into town, this is a good place for the business traveler to get a decent meal at the end of the day. But it is expensive and for the price we expected to be more impressed. The lounge is fun, some good cocktails.

We were spending the night at Safari West and went online at Restaurant.com searching for a treasure in or near Santa Rosa. Nectar appeared to be a very nice restaurant with a great menu. So, we purchased the coupon, and headed off to find Nectar. We were totally surprised to find that it was in the Hilton in Santa Rosa. That would have turned us off, but we were already w/coupon in hand and no way to print out something else.

Wow - were we happy that we continued on to the restaurant. It was Monday night - and not at all crowded. Atmosphere is very nice, w/views of the hills in daytime and lights at night. Seating/atmosphere was comfortable and easy to arrange for my disabled spouse.

Menu is creative and there is a daily choice of appetizer/main/dessert prepared from what chef found at the farmer's market that day. We asked if the crab stuffed fish was frozen (often the case in many restaurants) and were told it was definitely fresh and made in their own kitchen. So we tried that, along w/hangar steak. Food was wonderful, beautifully and creatively served. We like to share our entrees and ask for 2 small plates, putting the entrees on table family style -- no grief from the server, but rather a nice interchange about how well that system works. Even though we were really full, there was a chestnut mousse (from the farmer's market list) that we just Had to Have -- wonderful. Very seldom will you find chestnuts so creatively used.

Service was great. Fun waitress who had time to explore with us some interesting restaurants and travel deals (our choice to talk, she did not push herself on us).

We love Safari West, but don't always want the barbeque dinner they serve -- this was an excellent alternative and an easy drive to and from.

Everything here was delicious! I had the pan seared meatloaf and my wife had the New York strip. The flavor of the meat was great and their seasoning complimented but did not overpower. The vegetables and garnishes were also fresh and delicious. We also ate the next morning at the breakfast buffet which well worth the "Bed and "Breakfast" rates at the Hilton to get it included! If you are military check out the special military B&B rates.

We had a lovely meal when staying at the Hilton. The food was fresh and abundant, but it was rather pricey. We ate indoors, but wandered outside after our meal to enjoy the beautiful view.
