We visited this winery as our first stop on a day of tasting. To get to the tasting room you pass the work areas of the winery which is fun, and the folks working were friendly and called out to us. We were there a bit early for our tasting and they had no problem bringing us right in.
They had some interesting wines, but not surprising for a relatively small and new winery, a somewhat limited selection if you like a particular style of wine. The tasting ran the gamut from a dry sparkling Gewürztraminer wine, white, red, and a sweet dessert wine. While we enjoyed all the wines we didn’t have a stand out, but we did buy some of the zinfandel and the last harvest zinfandel that called to us.
The staff person was friendly and helpful. Our group of 6 was the only one in the tasting room and we filled it up, so you should probably call ahead as any more than 6-8 people in the tasting room would probably been cramped.
One other minor thing – stay away from their crackers. They were a whole grain style cracker that really didn’t help cleanse the palate.
Overall, a nice tasting with a variety of good reasonably priced wines.
