I walk there on a regular basis and I love the scenery, the peaceful energy. You can boat, walk, hike, bike, play all in one place.

The entire walk is around 3 miles. The views and interactions with nature are relaxing. Go in the afternoon during the week. There may be more people than desired especially on the weekends by go for that walk. It is still enjoyable!

You have to pay to park in the parking lot (when we were last there it was $7) but there is usually parking on the street if you don’t an extra walk. This is a clean, well-maintained park with mature trees and a 72-acre lake as its centerpiece. There is also a 3-acre swimming lagoon with lifeguard stands open during the summer months. This 320 acre park features camping, fishing, picnic areas with barbecues, and five group picnic areas. Trails are available for walking, hiking, bicycling and horseback riding. During daylight hours this park is never without locals enjoying the activities. There is a par course along the lake path, and there are lots of benches strategically placed facing the lake. The park opens at 7 a.m. and closes at sunset. It is a beautiful place to spend a day in any kind of weather.

The campground is open 7 days a week from May 1 through September 30, but only open weekends and holidays during the rest of the year. The lake is open year-round to windsurf, canoe or paddle boat. Boats are available for rent 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on summer weekends from the Concession stand, located near the swimming lagoon. The boat ramp is open year-round.

Great space to walk with friends, dogs or alone. Summers are filled with laughter, swimming, sipping a beverage by the lagoon, and just always a great place to catch the reflection of the trees in the lake.

I usually come to spring lake to fish, has a few good size keepers in it. It also has some nice paths to take a long walk or small hike, very fog friendly and also in the summer time has a swimming pool.
