The only thing I've eaten here is an over salted kind of stale warm pretzel with a fairly bland iced tea. But I don't care -- I was expecting the usual so-so hockey rink snack. What is great about this place IS the place. You can pull up a chair and sit at your table overlooking the Swiss chalet ice rink and watch the kids learning to skate by pushing chairs around on the ice or hockey players over 40 (some considerably over 40) coming together from all over the world to play in the Snoopy Seniors Tournament. You can take a look at Charles Schulz's "reserved" table with photos and quotes under the glass and think about how he is said to have come here to have breakfast at his rink before going off to draw. Or you can sit by the fire under the Snoopy with his stocking hat on.
I would imagine that if you live nearby and this is your local rink it might feel sort of regular to you. But having been in my fair share of hockey rink snack areas, I can tell you that there is nothing that feels like The Warm Puppy Cafe, stale pretzel notwithstanding.
