We stayed at the Sandman Inn in mid-March 2014 and the facility itself was adequate, a little carpetfreshy, but fine otherwise. Our complaint is with the lost and found. We attended a funeral in Santa Rosa and then we were away from home until the first week in April. At that time I called the Sandman to ask them to check their Lost and Found for a dress coat, and three pair of slacks. Price value of over $200. They said since it was a new month they would not have our clothing as they throw everything away from the lost and found at the first of the month. I can understand if they toss a sock, a t-shirt, etc. but to not call us for these valuable clothing items is beyond belief. We are so careful about not leaving things behind, usually check the bathroom door, etc., but this is the only place they could have been left. Their policy to not call for items like this amazes us. We would not stay here again.
