From the outside you hardly notice it as it is a bit tucked away. It's in the middle of the tiny township of Santa Ynez. But the food, breakfast and lunch are great. Not gourmet, but just great sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, salads, breakfasts etc.
It could use a bit of updating on the inside, but in away, the old-fashioned western atmosphere suits it. It's owned by the same people who own Paula's in Solvang. On any week-end or during the summer, people are lined up at Paula's to get in. It's that good. And the quality of food is just as good at the Burger Barn. The only thing they don't have are Danish Pancakes.
