Sometimes when vacation trip itineraries unexpectedly change, good things can happen!
My wife and I were recently on a trip from L.A. up the coast to San Francisco and our mid-week itinerary had to be changed because of all the fires. When we found out about the change, we were with friends who said "OK - then let's go to Santa Ynez - we have a favorite B&B there called ForFriends Inn and we can go vineyard hoping."
So, we went - so glad we dd.
It is a LOVELY inn and Jim, Debbie Campbell, the owners, are wonderful hosts! And don't forget to pet "Smitty", one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet.
A hearty breakfast is included and, after an afternoon of vineyard hoping, there is also a "happy hour" where you will be treated to a delightful repertoire of guitar and vocal music performed by Jim accompanied by the guests who seemed to know all the words to the songs as well.
Really fun!
Highly recommend this place if you're traveling up the central coast.
