You haven't lived until you have a warm crumb raised donut from Mary's.
One night I wanted a crumb, but they were sold out. They just finished making plain glazed and the nice girl behind the counter said " I can make you a crumb."
The warm glazed donut grabbed up all that crumb-y goodness, and it was, without a doubt, the best donut I have ever eaten.
There is usually a line, but just be patient, they serve you really quickly and it's totally worth it.
Go around 9 or 10pm and ask "what's hot" You'll be so blown away by the freshness.
You know it's good if local police and border patrol eat here.
Don't buy a donut in San Diego, hop on the 52, and spend a few minutes to have the best...donut...ever!
