“A Wonderful Place”
Reviewed 15 August 2013

My sister and I stayed at the Inn at Saratoga the weekend of August 10 and from check-in to check-out we could not find a single reason to complain. From the groundskeeper, to the check-in personnel and housekeeping the staff and even other guests were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were cozy and well-appointed and the terrace with the view of the nature area positively sublime. The Inn is tucked away, but still within walking distance of shops and restaurants (we enjoyed dinner at Indos – excellent Indonesian food!). We even took advantage of the video library. The continental breakfast had a nice selection as well, capping a wonderful stay. We would definitely return the next time we’re in the area and highly recommend it anyone considering a visit to Saratoga.

We recently celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary with a trip to Saratoga to attend an event at the Mountain Winery. We stayed at the Inn at Saratoga and enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a spacious suite - which was a very pleasant surprise - and welcomed with a chilled bottle of champagne. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was wonderful. In the morning we enjoyed the complimentary continental breakfast on the terrace. My husband and I appreciated the hospitality at the Inn at Saratoga. If we are ever in Saratoga again, it will be our number 1 choice.

This inn was very comfortable. The happy surprise was Rhythm shuttle! They picked us up in the lobby and the ride to Mountain Winery and back was $15 each. For 2 that's not much more than parking up there...and so carefree!! I highly recommend this service.

The Inn at Saratoga was my home away from home, my place of rest and relaxation after a hard day of Executive Briefing Sessions in Silicon Valley. Everything was perfect, complete to the babbling brook in the lush thicket of woods right off my balcony. The bed was supremely comfortable and all the amenities were at hand. I especially liked how the dressing and bathroom area lights would come on in the dim cycle, when you walked past, and turned off as you were leaving. Breakfast is filling and pleasant and the wine/cheese treat from 5-7 was a wonderful way to unwind. I'm going again and this time i plan to take my spouse!

Room Tip: Small, great staff, beautiful environment that backs up to a babbling stream. Who could ask for more...

Located in the sleepy, posh silicon value town of Saratoga, this truly is an old style Inn. Nestled amongst some giant trees and next to a burbling creek in the back, the Inn actually opens on the front side to the main street of Saratoga which has an array of pricy yet tasty restaurants to sample. The rooms are definitely decorated in a dated style, but frankly they are comfortable, clean and many have balconies that open onto the lush greenery surrounding the 4 story structure. It's a welcome change from the more corporate chain and boutique hotels that dominate the hotel scene in these parts. The staff were friendly if a bit sparse, and the continental breakfast was average, but good enough for a business visitor in a hurry.

We came to this Inn on a recommendation from a friend. The rooms are very nice, clean and spacious. A small balcony sets you beside a touch of nature where you enjoy the sounds of a small creek, squirrels and birds. A complimentary wine and cheese awaited us for a relaxing time with our freinds and a great chat with another guest who raved about his numerous times at this Inn. Highly recommended for relaxing.7

I used the Inn at Saratoga as one of my wedding hotels, and all the guests said it was lovely. The property lies adjacent to a bubbling brook, which is very tranquil and lovely. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There's also a beautiful courtyard where guests can sit and enjoy wine and cheese in the evening.

I deducted one star for two reasons: One, they gave me a special wedding rate of "$209," but several of my guests found a cheaper rate (of nearly $30) by booking online at the hotel's actual site. I don't understand why a special rate would be more expensive given that we are directing business their way. Second, we rented one of their conference rooms for a casual dinner. The room and adjacent patio were perfect, but found the customer service a bit too laid-back. We had to ask several times for items that should have been automatically given to us: a corkscrew, ice bucket, pitchers of water, etc. For spending $350 for 2.5 hours, I'd expect a little more service. Granted, the woman who cleaned the room had to stay an extra hour, it was appreciated but that's a lot of money to spend.
