We stayed her for our seventh wedding anniversary, perfect for a one night getaway. It had the perfect combination of luxury accommodations, historic charm, and special occasion dining. The location is amazing right by the Golden Gate. We stayed in one of the historic queens which was stylishly decorated with unique furnishings and art.
Because of the spacious grounds, the resort feels very relaxing and not crowded or hectic like in San Francisco itself.
The staff and service were excellent greeting us warmly and providing us with anything we needed.
The spa was very complete but seemed very overpriced. If you go, do check out the list of Spa services which included everything from a traditional swedish massage to a shamanic healing. If you come bring fitness clothes for hiking or yoga to make the most of the facilities.
While we were there we ate at Murray Circle for dinner and breakfast which was excellent. The dinner was definitely worthy of the Michelin stars: creative, modern and delicious.
We also had afternoon tea at the Spa. It was only $25, but nothing special.More
