Incredible hotel, perfect location, AMAZING accommodations, we wanted to stay an extra night we loved it so much & JOE made it happen. The staff is incredible, Joe was a rockstar and made this the best trip ever, we would be back, and would highly recommend staying here, it is not just a stay its an experience. you can walk to everything and the view from your room is amazing, stunning views, deck, and fireplace, worth the upgrade worth the stay. To be so close to everything, it's super quiet, fresh breakfast each morning, wine & cheese tasting at night, free bikes to go anywhere you need to and the ferry is steps away. Thank you to the Staff, & Joe for exceeding our expectations, we will be back

Room Tip: All rooms have balcony's, views, ask for the room 107, best room ever

From your bed you can look out the expansive windows and see San Francisco at night you see the Garideli sign all lit up then the fishing boats came by it was quite the place. There are only a few shops in Sausalito so this hotel is the only reason to go yo this town.

Right on San Francisco Bay, a short walk to boats to the Ferry Bldg and Fisherman's Wharf, cheap parking, an excellent breakfast and free internet service. Not much more to ask for. An excellent alternative to a San Francisco hotel unless you're part of a conference.

Room Tip: There are a variety of rooms, some what a balcony and some with lots of additions. Check the web-sit...

We stayed on the 1st floor in the Tidal Suite. It felt like a houseboat (without the motion), as we were right off the water. The room was fabulous, the service was great and we location, location, location. Restaurants, bars, shopping and the ferry were all just steps away from our front door.

The room was spacious. Large windows and a glass door were on either side of the wood burning fireplace. The property provided wood, kindling and everything we needed to make a wonderful, blazing fire. Our room had a balcony with lounge chairs and views that went on for miles.

Each evening in the common area wine and cheese was served, as well as each morning a nice continental breakfast.

Our room was $755 per night, which seemed a bit pricey. It was a great property and a great experience, but the room was not as large as I expected. The online photos definitely made it look larger.

Room Tip: I heard a guest asking "Are all rooms this small?" So if you can afford a suite, I would b...

Truly one of the most romantic oceanside hotels in the San Francisco Bay area. The rooms are very well appointed and each room is ocean front with a view of the city as well as Alcatraz and the Bay Bridge in the distance. Most rooms have a fireplace and a balcony which works great for the cool evenings looking over the ocean and seeing the city lights of San Francisco. The staff offers a warm and inviting greeting each and every time you arrive at the Inn. We have been to the hotel on 3 separate occasions and each one provides its own separate special moment and memory. I will suggest that the summers in Sausalito are cool and crowded compared to September and October. There is no food at the Inn other than the wonderful continental breakfast in the morning or the cheese and bread accompanied by wine for the 5pm happy hour. There is plenty to of great places to dine in the area with our newest favorite Copita Tequilaria which is a 3-5 minute walk across from the Inn. If you want to take a day trip to Fishermans Warf or see the city, I suggest the 20 min ferry ride that is right outside the front gates of the Inn. If you looking for a great romantic getaway in North California, this is the place!

The hotel is truly perched 'above the tide' - cannot get any closer to the water. The location is great. Stayed in a queen room with a balcony and fireplace. Would definitely recommend a room with a balcony as the view is one of the highlights and the hotel does not have any public seating areas overlooking the bay. The room was a little small but very comfortable, clean and modern. There is an adequate although not exciting continental breakfast and cheese and wine in the evening. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful
