It isn't easy living within a couple of blocks of the most talked about sushi restaurant in the Bay Area. Harder still, to succeed in delivering some of the best sushi and sashimi you'll ever have; minus the jazzy nature of your neighbors. Sweet Ginger does it in spades; in a small and quiet space where the focus is on what's on your plate. I don't know how they manage, as they do, to regularly provide sashimi that is a joy to see, no less to taste. The kitchen is small, but the talent and professionalism are the match of any authentic Japanese sushi restaurant you'll ever eat at. No flash, no dash, no overwhelming decor or presentation. But the fish is absolutely marvelous. Kudos to Sweet Ginger and their staff. And not incidentally; there's plenty on the menu for your children, as well. My grandchildren love the place. i recommend it highly. ,
