I found this place by accident in looking for camp sites while planning a trip to Avenue of the Giants. I found some reviews on RV review sites. I called and found they had tent sites for $18/night and small basic cabins for $35/night. The place is very clean and quiet and located on a frontage road. Access to the park is on well graded dirt roads with well packed gravel. The tent and rv sites are grassy surrounded by trees, giant redwoods. The rv sites have electrical hook ups, water and a dump station. The restrooms are very clean with hot showers. The cabins they have are very basic, they have wood bunks or beds, wood floor, electrical outlets, lights, microwave and refrigerator. You could probably say they are equivalent to tent cabins. You have to bring your own air mattress, sleeping pad and sleeping bag or bedding. They do not have a mattress. The hosts are very nice and friendly. I would recommend this park if you want a nice clean and quiet place for parking your rv, tent camping or renting a cabin. It is about 4 miles from Rio Dell where they have some restaurants, stores, and a gas station. I will definately stay at this place again when visiting the redwoods. It is just north of Avenue of the Giants.
