“CLOSED”
Reviewed 28 September 2012 via mobile

Scotts Valley Grill has been closed for many years. Replaced by Sandabs, which was pretty good for a while, but went downhill, and is now closed as well. Rumor has it that Sandabs may reopen in late 2012.

“Best restaurant in Scotts Valley”
Reviewed 12 February 2008

The Scotts Valley Grill is somewhat hidden behind camp evers so it seams not many people know about it. I have been eating there for years and always feel like I am treated like family. The service is always warm and friendly and the portions are huge! Everything is made fresh and you can tell when you try it. Not the cheapest place in town but by far the best value. If you are looking for a nice quite place for a romantic meal, check out the grill...

“Disappointed”
Reviewed 13 August 2007

My brother and I were the only patrons at the Scotts Valley Grill this evening between 5:30-6:30 p.m. After receiving bread (two little pieces) and and oil, vinegar & garlic plate, we asked for butter as my brother doesn't care for the oil and vinegar. The waitperson said they had no butter..huh? He eventually found some. Our drinks were eventually replenished, but nobody ever came by to ask how everything was....did I mention we were the only patrons in the restaurant?? The Chicken Marsala was a grilled chicken breast and sauteed mushrooms, where was the Marsala sauce???? Not once did the owner or a waitstaff person ask how everything was.

On the bright side, my brother loved the swordfish and the french fries, and he's a picky eater.

Won't eat there again, we felt like we were imposing on them.

“Delicious, Gourmet, Delightful”
Reviewed 29 November 2006

Don't let the location deter you from one of the most delicious and delightful dining experiences in the area. The chef's presentation and generous porportions along with the sauces and quality of fish, meat, and poultry are exquisit. They also offer a large assortment of wines to satisfy any palate. Take a drive and have a wonderful evening with someone special.
