Description: There isn't an actual website but the site I gave you gives a little info & has a email address. The restaurant was mentioned in Sunset Magazine in the June 2010 issue in an article about Sierra City. The restaurant seating is outside in a beautiful terraced garden with many beautiful plants & flowers & with a creek running through it.

Sitting outside in a nice patio and water and fresh air. They make a "killer" bloody mary and breakfast was very good. The service was the best and the staff was very friendly.

“Middle of nowhere”
Reviewed 20 August 2013

Mountain Creek Restaurant is a real find in a tiny city in the Sierra. A creek runs through the dining area, and the tables are set up outdoors on a terraced lot next to the restaurant. It is a relaxing place to enjoy a meal, and the only bad point about Mountain Creek is its relatively short menu. A restaurant that looks this good deserves a better menu. But the staff does a great job with the limited number of dishes that are offered.

“Lovely setting...delicious food”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

The Mtn. Creek is located right in the heart of Sierra City. There isn't a lot of choices for dining...Sierra City is very small and has only 3 restaurants and, interestingly 4 bars! If you're going on a weekend night expect at least a 20-30 wait, but shorter if you decide to eat inside.
We spent about 20 mins. at the bar waiting for an outside table...but it was worth it. The bartender made one of the best Bloody Mary's I've ever had plus, dining outside by the roaring creek makes an evening dinner very special.

We had their rib special and were actually overfull when we walked back to our cabin. The meals come w/both soup AND salad, choice of potatoes, a vegetable and fresh warm bread. Their Cream of Carrot soup was wonderful.

We were eating here on a Saturday night and there was live music outside (this particular night it was pretty mediocre). Some of the tables outside are perched next to a rushing creek which makes for a very pleasant atmosphere. Also, you are allowed to dine with your dog.

Great atmosphere, don't let the plastic table clothes scare you off! Friendly service and good food at a reasonable price.

“Dog friendly”
Reviewed 5 August 2013

Great setting in Sierra city and tables outside are nice...you can bring your dog in the court yard while you eat. Not a lot of shade to leave in car
