Solana Beach's Antique Warehouse is a fun place for anyone who loves antiques, collectables or nostalgia. It's housed in an old roller skating rink in the Cedros Design district and is one of the larger antique stores in San Diego county, with many, many booths selling everything from furniture to jewelry to old magazines. The Design district is considered a more upscale area now, and many of the stores in the area are rather pricey but I have not noticed that the prices at Antique Warehouse are higher than other antique stores in less expensive areas, I have a very small budget but I always find something I can afford there, and even if you don't buy anything it's just fun to browse. The staff is always helpful if you have a question or need to take a closer look at something in a locked cabinet. I would recommend Antique Warehouse to adults shopping without small children though, they will probably be bored and you'll spend all your time trying to keep them from touching things! One more thing, you never know who you might see at the Antique Warehouse, I saw Barbra Streisand shopping there one day!
