We arrived in Solana Beach on a sunny County Fair Sunday and the town was mobbed. We found this out-of-the-way place on Trip Advisor and tried it. A pretty good find. It’s an informal little fish restaurant in a strip mall with a lot of Mexican fishing village atmosphere. We shared an order of excellent ceviche. Nice fresh fish marinated in lime juice with fresh onions and tomatoes. Then we shared an order of fried oysters. The oyster batter was excellent, like a beer batter. The oysters were okay but not freshly shucked so didn’t have much flavor or texture. But the rest of the menu is appealing with some things that we look forward to trying next time.
